Biography:

Kat graduated from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked in many different patient care settings, including NICU, LTC, L&D, Pediatric and Adult Emergency Care, ICU, and Case Management. She came to Sitka as a travel nurse in 2002 and fell in love with the community and its people.

Kat has been involved in almost every patient care area of Sitka Community Hospital. She has shown commitment to the organization and its patients/residents. She is also involved within the community in sport organizations and school functions. She is an Emblem member and has served on several non-profit boards. During her interim period, she hopes to offer stability to the nursing staff during a time of change within the organization of SCH.
