Sitka Community Hospital - Old Auxiliary

The purpose of this organization shall be to render service to Sitka Community Hospital - Old and its patients, and to assist Sitka Community Hospital - Old in promoting the health and welfare of the community in accordance with objectives established by the institution.

Ongoing activities of the Auxiliary include:

Support of the Long Term Care unit including a residents' Christmas Party with gifts.
Maintaining the gift counters
Holiday decoration of the lobby area
Coordinate with Social Services in assisting patients with emergency prescription needs
Assist with payroll distribution
Occasional financial assistance for staff education

Meetings are held four times a year, generally on the second Tuesday in February, May, September, and November.

New members are welcome. Members pay a $10.00 yearly dues and receive a membership pin.
