Biography:
Mo has been an Occupational Therapist since 1972. She received her BS in OT from University of Puget Sound in 1972, and her master Degree in OT from Boston University in 2007. She has held professional position in pediatrics in Denver, CO., Portland and Beaverton Oregon, and Sitka. She has worked with infants up to age 22 years. She has received a pediatric specialty certification from The American Occupational Therapy Association in 1992-2005.Mo is certified in Neurodevelopment, Myofascial release, craniosacral and video fluoroscopy. She has the basic training in manual lymph drainage. She considers herself to be a lifelong learner who sees each patient as a new learning experience. Mo has been an adjunct instructor for continuing education for both occupational therapy and massage studies at the University of Colorado, Portland Community College and at the University of Alaska Southeast.
While working at Oceanside Therapy seeing both adult and children. She also works with early learning to work with the 0-3 population and maintains a small massage practice as well. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her two daughters and the many wonderful things available to do in Sitka.
