Dr. Brushafer attended Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota graduating Suma Cum Laude 1984.She attended medical school at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and Minneapolis graduating 1989.
Dr. Brushafer completed her residency at Family Practice Residency of Idaho in Boise, Idaho an extension of the University of Washington graduating in 1992.
Dr. Brushafer enjoys gardening and traveling abroad. She also enjoys spending time with family and friend hiking and exploring the wonderful waterways, beaches, woods and mountains of Southeast Alaska.
